Prime Minister's Youth Council

 

Are you between 16 and 24? Become an advisor to the Government and the Prime Minister of Canada. Join the Prime Minister’s Youth Council and share your voice on behalf of youth in Canada. 

 

Apply before April 14, 2024!

 

The Prime Minister’s Youth Council (PMYC) is a group of youth from across Canada who provide non-partisan advice to inform the Government of Canada's approach to addressing key issues for youth in Canada.

 

We're looking for young people from diverse walks of life who want to shape the future, identify the challenges facing youth, and work with the Prime Minister and Government of Canada to overcome them. 

 

The Council offers valuable advice on important issues, such as the environment, housing, affordability, climate change, public health, reconciliation, and immigration.

 

To apply, you must log in to your VidCruiter account or create an account if you do not have one. This measure is to ensure the security of your personal information. This will also allow you to return to your application to make changes or updates.

What to Expect

1. Sign in to your existing VidCruiter account or create a new one. Once your account is created, you will receive a confirmation.

2. The application may take 10-15 minutes. You can save and resume your progress at any time. To be eligible, the application must be submitted by April 14, 2024, at 11:59 pm (Pacific Time).

3. If selected, candidates will asked to complete a pre-recorded video interview.

4. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete background checks.
